Soon after the launch of Dr Kamal Haasan Tamil film, a remake of Malayalam film ‘Drishyam’ trouble started for it from Hindi film maker Ekta Kapoor.

Ekta Kapoor a very big name in Hindi film and television industry has sent a court notice for writer and director Jeethu Joseph not to take up Tamil version of ‘Drishyam’ as it would affect her Hindi film that is adapted from Japanese film The Devotion of Suspect X – it is from this film Jeethu Joseph made his Malayalam film Ekta Kapoor allege.

The strength of Dr Kamal Haasan is such that the Hindi dubbed version gives a big booty – the worry starts here for Ekta Kapoor as her film of the similar subject will be having no takers.

Ekta Kapoor in the last year sent notice to KFCC in Bangalore to stop allocating title ‘Dirty Pictures’. It is this title film in Hindi starring Vidya Balan given a resounding success for Ekta Kapoor. The Kannada film on the life of Silk Smitha was titled as ‘Silk…Sakkat Hot Maga’.

Meanwhile Jeetu Joseph has assured that there is no need for Ekta Kapoor to worry on her project. The Japanese film and his film only similarity of murder cover up and he has no intention of making a Hindi version of the film.
